Danny writes about Japanese pop culture at dannychoo.com, which is read by 2 million unique users per month and regularly featured in media such as CNN, BBC, and G4TV, and recently picked up as "Best Japan Blog" on Forbes.
As a blogger, his main topics usually revolve around anime-related figurines, Japan’s pop culture as well as life in Tokyo. One of his more famous acts was dressing up as a Stormtrooper from Stars Wars and dancing in various parts of Tokyo. As the CEO of Mirai.fm, an e-commerce solution firm he started in 2007, Danny's clients include major Japanese companies like Good Smile Company and Kotobukiya amongst others. |
At Anime Festival Asia 2009, Danny will be speaking at the Asian Animation Conference as one of the key speakers on how companies could engage the anime generation and more. At the actual event itself, he would also be hosting several events as well, such as well as a showcase of his Mirai-chan related merchandise.
